About Location, Activities, and Local Services

Q: Is there a beach within a very short walking distance from the home? 
Absolutely!  Kahana Sunset Beach is the nearest and its beach access is a short 3-5 minute walking distance from the home. Also within walking distance we have Napili Bay Beach, a very popular snorkeling spot.  Kapalua Bay Beach (just named the #3 BEST beach in America) is within a short 2 minute driving. 

 

Q: How can I access the nearby beaches? 
When you arrive at the home, a convenient and easy-to-read house guide book contains the beach access maps with an instruction for Kahara Sunset, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay Beaches. 

 

Q: Is this an ocean front home or ocean view home? 
Our ocean view island paradise is the perfect place to create lasting memories and is just 300 feet from the ocean! Soak in spectacular ocean views from the kitchen/dining/living space as well as the master bedroom. Molokai Island sits in the center of the unpatrolled ocean view. Open the doors and windows or step onto the lanai and enjoy the amazing ocean breezes as you feel your city stress melt away. 

 

Q: Is the home located on the ocean side or mountain side of public ocean road?
Of course, our home is on the ocean side (not the mountain side) of public ocean road. This is ideal for your most comfort and the best ocean views with no power lines in front of you. 

 

Q: Are there any homes between the ocean and your home?
Yes, there is a quiet and landscaped residential community between the ocean and our home. Small and low rise homes are spotted on the slope down to the ocean, and they never obstruct our ocean views from the upstairs balcony.

 

Q: Can I easily walk to a shopping plaza from the home? 
Absolutely.  You can walk to the largest shopping plaza in Napili area within 3 minutes.  Enjoy shopping, foods, beers, and wines whenever you want.  You can also enjoy meals at the local BBQ restaurant and grab your morning java at the nearby coffee shop.  There are a snorkel rental shop, pharmacy, fast food shops at the same shopping plaza for added convenience.  

 

Q: How close is the home to restaurants? 
There are a load of restaurants around the home, the closest being in Napili Plaza which is a 3 minute walk away.

Q: Do you have any recommendations for airport transfer? 
Our recommendation is renting cars at Kahului Airport.

 

Q: How far is the home from the airport? 
Our home is about 50 minute drive away from Kahului Airport depending on traffic.

 

Q: Can I get the address or map of the home? 
On this FAQs page, we are not disclosing the property address for the best privacy and security of our guests. Please call Kyla B. at +1 (646) 260-8535 to get more precise location. 

 

Q: How far to Lahaina and Kanapali from the home?
Lahaina is a 15 minute drive away and Kanapali is a 10 minute drive away from the home.

Q: Are floor plans and detailed bed configurations available?

Q: What are the dimensions of upstairs office space?
The length is 10 feet 2 inches and the width is 6 feet. Please click here to see the photo of office space.

 

Q: How large is the upstairs balcony of the dining/living space and master bedroom?

Q: What are the dimensions of the lawn area by the pool?
The length is 27 feet and the width is 18 feet.

 

Q: What is the amount of people who are able to eat at the large dining table upstairs?
The upstairs dining table normally seats 8. Our guests sometimes use it for 10 seats by bringing two more chairs from the downstairs.  The kitchen island table seats 4.  Also, there is a large outdoor dining table that seats 12 on the upstairs balcony with the ocean views.

 

Q: Are there Pack n Plays or Cribs provided? 
Pack n Plays are provided at no change.  No cribs are provided. 

 Pack n Play  3 Regulars*   Available upon request. 

 

Q: Are there any baby/child items other than Pack n Plays? 
Definitely.  Our home is very baby/child-friendly.  We have 3 high chairs, 3 strollers, 3 baby dinnerware sets and baby toys, all complimentary with the house.

 

Q:  Do you have any more accommodations nearby? 
We have other accommodation nearby for more occupancy. Please inquire about renting it out. 

 

Q: How many car parking spaces available? 
5 cars fit without having to move any around on the property.  If it was the 6 cars, they would fit but people would have to move a car for one to get out. 

 

Q: Are linens and towels provided? 
Yes.  There are linens and towels provided.  All bedding is provided. 

 

Q: Are beach towels provided? 
Yes.  There are plenty of beach towels provided. 

 

Q: How many kitchens/bars does the house have? 
The house has a chef’s kitchen upstairs with a stovetop, oven, microwave, and dishwasher.  There is a large bar downstairs with an island countertop by the game room.

 

Q: Are any beach items such as beach chairs, mats, and sand toys provided? 
Yes.  Such beach items are left by the past guests and, if you would like, you may use them as they are at the beach and pool. 

 

Q:  Is the kitchen well equipped even for a chef’s service? 
Absolutely.  The home has every kitchen item you can think of.

 

Q:  Are there enough refrigerators for cooling down a large amount of foods and drinks? 
Absolutely.  We have 2 large refrigerators and 2 wine/drink coolers. 

 

Q:  Are there cooler boxes? 
Yes.  We have 2 Coleman 54 Quart Coolers. 

 

Q:  Are hair dryers provided? 
Yes. A hair dryer is provided for EVERY bathroom; i.e., 5 dryers for 5 bathrooms. 

 

Q:  Are there air conditioners (ACs)? 
Yes.  Every bedroom has an AC unit. The upstairs dining/living room and the downstairs game room have an AC unit as well.  All AC units are a split type for efficient control and run very quietly. 

 

Q:  Is there a washer and dryer in the home? 
Yes, we have a washer and dryer in the home.  Also, in case you have a large amount of laundry to wash and dry, you can use the secondary washer and dryer in the laundry room by the garage.  

 

Q:  Is there an iron and ironing board? 
Yes, we have an iron and ironing board in the home.

 

Q:  Is there WiFi for internet access?
Yes, we have WiFi throughout the home.

 

Q:  Are events such as weddings allowed? 
No.  Events of any kind including weddings are strictly prohibited, both inside and outside of the home. However, we could recommend some nearby places if you were still interested in our home as accommodation.

 

Q:  I understand no "events" are allowed. What are the prohibited "events" other than weddings? 
Besides weddings, the prohibited "events" are such as but not limited to receptions/parties of any kind, gatherings other than registered guests, and live music/dance performances. These "events" are prohibited both inside and outside of the home.

 

Q:  Is smoking allowed? 
No.  Smoking is prohibited both inside and outside of the home. This is an entirely non-smoking home. 

 

Q:  Are pets allowed? 
No.  Pets are prohibited both inside and outside of the home.

 

 

Q:  How do guests access the home gate and entrances? 
The gate and home entrances are accessible with key entry system.  No physical keys are required.  Our property manager will provide the passcodes before your arrival. 

About Booking 

Q: What is the cancellation policy? 
If the cancellation notice is received at least 90 days prior to the arrival, all payments made less an applicable cancellation fee will be refunded. If the cancellation notice is received less than 90 days prior to the arrival, all payments made is non-refundable except the rule/security deposit. Please refer to the rental agreement on the booking page for more details.

 

 

Q: What if my vacation plans change? 
We do understand that unexpected situations (e.g., flight cancellation due to hurricane, family emergency, sick, pregnarncy, childbirth, military deployment, government travel restritcion due to coronavirus) might curtail the best of plans and no one wants to pay for a vacation they can’t take.  We therefore strongly encourage you to puchase a "cancel for any reason" (CFAR) traveler’s insurance policy that will compensate you in the event an unpredictable circumstance prevents you from completing your booking. Not every insurance policy is the same.  Please do your own research when you purchase it.

  

Q: Is my rule & security deposit fully refundable? 
Assuming you did not break any rules such as no noise/events/smoking/pets and no damage was made to our property, your rule & security deposit would be fully refunded after your departure. 

 

Q: Can you hold our dates till we make a final decision to move forward with booking? We are very interested in your home. 
Sorry, but we cannot hold your dates before you get ready for moving forward with booking. We will hold your dates for up to 24 hours once we receive a booking request online with the final stay dates and your card info.

 

Q: Should I book directly with you or through a booking site such as VRBO and HomeAway? 
If you initially inquired about the listing through VRBO or HomeAway, please submit your booking request through them as per their policy.  Please note that your booking site may additionally charge you when you book through them. Their fee is not included in our quote. For instance, VRBO and HomeAway will take their "Service Fee" for some protection/assistance service when book through them.  If you did not initially inquire through VRBO or HomeAway, you can book directly with us from the listing page of our web site.

 

Q: Can I book on the phone to hold my dates as soon as possible? 
No, we don't accept a booking request on the phone since we will need you to review and accept our rental agreement and house policies when we hold the dates.  Your online booking request will automatically hold your dates for up to 24 hours.

 

Q: What are your rental agreement and house policies?  How can I accept them? 
You will be required to review and accept your rental agreement and house policies online when you submit a booking request through a booking site such as VRBO and HomeAway or our own web site. You will also find a copy of the rental agreement and house policies you accepted in your booking confirmation email for your future reference.  Just for your convenience, we will send a PDF version of your rental agreement with booking details and house policies after your booking is confirmed. 

 

Q: How should I make a payment? 
When you submit a booking request through a booking site or our own web site, you will be required to enter your card information online. 

 

Q: Should one person of our large group make all the payments? 
Yes. We can accept only one card for your payments of the booking. Thank you for having someone of your group arrange all the payments. 

 

Q: How can I have my booking confirmed and secure the dates? 
Once we receive your booking request online with your card info, we will process your first payment. When your first payment is processed, your booking is confirmed and your dates are secured.  We would release your dates if your booking was not confirmed within 24 hours of your booking request.  

 

Q: What are the check-in time and check-out time? 
Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is 10:30 am.
